Israel’s “Democracy” and Norway’s Foreign Policy

norway foreign policy, foreign policy, norwegian foreign policy, norway foreign aid, foreign policy issues, eu foreign policy, norway eu, norway foreign affairs, israel foreign policy, israel s foreign policy, israeli foreign policy, foreign policy israel, foreign policy of israel, the israel lobby, foreign relationsIsrael and Norway have the most tenuous relationship on Earth, a subject of grave significance for the Norwegian foreign policy. Norway has a very active foreign policy department that facilitates a great deal of information and intelligence gathering and dissemination. Primarily, Norway has shown a willingness to assist in the plight of Palestinian people. So what’s the big deal with Israel? Currently, Norway is the best country to live in, in the world, precisely for its democratic, governmental and domestic involvement to improve technology, lifestyle and continually progressive economic climate.

On the other hand, Israel has been considered “the greatest threat to world peace,” by an EU poll. It is involved in great psychological warfare against Palestinians, willfully executing their genocidal agenda as templated from Hitler’s Nazi regime. All of Israel’s tactics mimic their creator: Nazi Germany and continues to be a model and way of life. Israel parrots itself as “the only democracy in the middle east“. Ever since occupation began in 1947, almost immediately after the end of WWII, Palestinians have lived in excruciating, terrifying existence worse than Hitler ever imagine for the Jews. According to Huffington Post:

Since 1967, Israel has militarily occupied the Palestinian West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, placing four million Palestinians under harsh rule, suppressing their right to self-determination and foreclosing on their ability to live under their own free and democratic governance.

Norway and Israel Relations

Norway understands this terrifying crisis subjected to Palestine, foreseeing even more imminent disaster, Norway has taken steps to reassure aid and dissemination of the Neo-Nazi Israeli regime, to the point of demanding a return of tax revenues. Two months ago Norway demanded Israel return the palestinian tax revenues generated by the Palestinian economy. According to James Petras (2006) in The Power of Israel in the United States:

On January 25, 2006 the Palestinian people voted overwhelmingly in favor of Hamas in the cleanest election to take place in any Arab Middle Eastern country. The Israeli government immediately refused to recognize the democratic outcome. It refused to turn over Palestinian tax revenues, deliberately blocked all trading outlets to drastically reduce what was already Palestinian subsistence living, and began an intense and prolonged series of violent assaults on Palestinian cities and villages, killing and maiming hundreds.

In response to this evident crisis, Norway proceeded to a press releases urging Israel to return those tax revenues:

“This money belongs to the Palestinians. Israel just administers these funds on behalf of the Palestinian Authority according to an agreement. Withholding these funds undermines President Abbas and other Palestinian political forces that are pursuing a peaceful solution,” said Mr Støre.

We are seeing the persistence of Israel’s “Final Solution”, Ehud Olmert stated after Hamas’s democratic election: “I want nobody to sleep at night in Gaza” (July 2, 2006), reinforced by Labor Party Minister Yitzak Rabin:

Israel will create in the course of the next 10 or 20 years conditions which would attract natural and voluntary migration of the refugees from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank to Jordan.

Israel’s True Neo-Nazi Nature

On file of Norway’s ministry of foreign affairs, there are 169 articles Israel has considered “anti-Semitic” and willing to exercise its vicious propaganda system to crush Norway’s anti-Israeli position. Continual relations seem impossible to repair, as Norway continues to reveal anti-Israeli regime documents of which the Israeli embassy in Norway stated:

“The open and official Norwegian policy talks about understanding and reconciliation,” a senior Israeli official said Sunday evening, “but ever since the war in Gaza, Norway has become a superpower in terms of exporting multimedia aimed at de-legitimizing Israel, while using the Norwegian taxpayer funds for creating and transporting this multimedia.”

In essence, Israel is attempting to de-legitimize Norway’s effective government and foreign policy, deeming Norway as “racist” and “anti-Semetic”. These lines have been uttered before, as is the label given to all those so-called “holocaust deniers”. These types of sentiment run amuck without any meaning these days, so we can’t hold Israel for any of these claims. Israel has refused to respond to Norway’s demands and has deemed Norway as an anti-israeli state. Israel is so determined to uphold their “positive” “democratic” image while killing hundreds of Palestinians everyday. What do you think?
